...Light Painting.

It was so unbearably hot yesterday, and after spending the day melting from the inside out ("helloooo heatwave") I couldn't sleep and spent the wee small hours in the garden attempting some light painting with my hairy assistant. :) Here's a little selection of photographs taken after 12am. Loving the early start to day 129!

The science bit:
My trusty Nikon was in full manual mode (M), with low ISO (100), long shutter speed and low aperture (7 or 8).
I had a shutter speed of about 10 seconds but next time I will make it longer so I can get a bit more elaborate with the waving around of my torch!
