9/100 (100 Strangers Project)

Mathieu.

9/100

Mathieu was with his friend Frederick in Camden High Street when I accosted him for this photograph and nervously explained a little bit about the project.
He was really happy to be involved, and couldn't have been nicer.
I came away with an invitation to look him and his friend up if I ever wanted to photograph tattoo's in Paris.
:)

8/100 (100 Strangers Project)

 Chris

8/100

Chris is a musician, and was playing a beautiful version of "You Are My Sunshine" busking next to the canal when I spotted him.
He was lovely, and happy to let me photograph him after I nabbed him between songs to ask him...

Here's to friendly strangers.

Monday

7/100 (100 Strangers Project)

Lucas.

(7/100)

Lucas was also with strangers #5 and #6 on Inverness Street.
His name was definitely Lucas.
I might be getting better at this whole remembering a name thing. :)

6/100 (100 Strangers Project)

Sek...I think....

6/100

My 6th stranger was a friend of Paddy's (stranger #5) and was one of the many people who came out of the bar to help me out.
I tip my cap to each and every one of you.
I think his name was Sek. But sometimes, I can't be trusted to remember a name. :)

5/100 (100 Strangers Project)

Paddy.

(5/100)

Paddy was outside a bar on Inverness Street rocking his yellow sunglasses and shirt.
When I told Paddy about the project, he went above and beyond the call of duty by going back inside the bar and bringing back out a ton of people all ready for their time to shine.
:)

Friday

4/100 (100 Strangers Project)

Yanek.

(4/100)

Yanek was sitting outside The Blues Kitchen in Camden having a smoke, when I asked him if he'd like to help me out and be included in my project.
There was a slight language barrier, but with a few wild gesticulations and some big smiles, we got through.
It was hard to choose my favourite shots of Yanek.
I think he might have done this before once or twice. :)

Thursday

3/100 (100 Strangers Project)

3/100

This lovely lady was sitting on a chair in camden market surrounded by shopping bags.
She was happy to let me take her photograph, and stood up to be photographed.
I being the absolute sieve head I am, forgot to remember her name.
I asked her, she told me...We had a chat, then I walked away and forgot...

2/100 (100 strangers project)

Colin.

(2/100)

This is Colin.
He's a brilliant man who has a newspaper stand outside Camden underground station. I think he has a great face.
When I asked him if I could take his photo he said he thought I might break my camera, before saying yes.
His friend was standing nearby telling him to smile, but he said "No, no...that's not what they want these photographer types. You want seerious don't you? All moody."

Gotta love Colin.

1/100 (100 Strangers Project)

David.

(1/100)

David was walking along Camden Road on his own, minding his own business, when I asked him if he'd mind if I took his photograph for a personal project.
He was softly spoken and seemed quite shy but he really couldn't have been lovelier, and didn't look at me like I was mentally unstable, which was nice.
This is my favourite of the shots I took of David.
A well-timed number 168 bus gave me a nice backdrop.
Job done. Here's to you David. May everyone be as friendly as you.
99 to go.
