..."We're not in Radiator Springs anymore, Mcqueen."

A busy ol' day today with my two little boys, who are happy to be 'freeeeee!' from school, and running around like whirlwinds, So not much time for photography!
But what better way to end the day than kneeling on the side of the road in the rain playing with your childrens toys? ; )

Back to work tonight behind my lovely little bar at The H & C. (Okay, It's not really mine, but it IS lovely.)
Have had some time off, so was worried I might have forgotten how to pull a pint, but as it turns out? It's a lot like riding a bike... :)

...Chocolate.

One of my best friends is having one of those weeks. The really REALLY rubbish kind.
So we did the only thing we could do in this situation.
We put the world to rights over a family sized Dairy Milk.
And we felt better.

Hang on in there chicken.
Because you're brilliant.
And it's the Weekend.
And, y'know what? It's all going to be okay. X

Bloody love you!

...Interesting Theory:

"The snail is HAPPY in his home even though he has neither TV nor DISHWASHER.
The HUMAN will therefore be even more HAPPY than the SNAIL."
(END of INTERESTING THEORY)
-Edward Monkton.

And while we're on the subject of snails, (...and we are!) You should probably look at Inner City Snail- A slow moving street art project by street artist Slinkatchu
Because I just did.
And I don't regret it. :)
His Little people project is a bit good too.

...Sky.

I love cloud-watching. I always ask the kids what they can see and get "A rabbit!" "A spaceship!" "A dinosaur!""A sausage!"
This to me, looks like a bearded man with hairy eyes.
And a slight mohican.
Wearing some sort of scarf.
But that might just be me. : )

....Sign Language (I love you)

This months Community Word project from the gorgeous 'From Our Hearts To Our Hands' blog, is COMMUNICATE.
So day 94 is my little submission.
'I Love You' in sign language.

I let out a squeal of delight, (Eeeeeeeeeeeee!) and did a full on happy dance last month, when I realised that my 'Birth" photo had been selected, and was there happily nestled in blogland. (You can see it here. Mine is the 9th one down, reidygirl. Woooo Hooooooooo!)

The 'From Our Hearts' Flickr group is here, if you should want to join in. And I think you probably should! :)

Monday

It's all gone a bit Harry Potter around here!

My first attempts at moving photography. Eeeeeeeeeee! I LOVED doing this. Muchos Fun. :D

I almost pee'ed my pants when I saw Jamie Becks A.mazing animated photography a while back (you can see her work here.) and I wanted to play too, so thought I'd give it a little bash. Why the devil not? ;)

...Growing Up.

Dylan went to get ready for school this morning, and re-appeared clutching 'Bear Bear' his well-loved, well-worn teddy.

We bought him this little bear in mothercare over 7 years ago, when The Beautiful Hairy Man and I were massively excited new parents to be, and while Dylan was still a little bump, and I don't think he has spent a night without him since.

 ...Wreck This Journal.

Dylan bought me this Wreck This Journal for my birthday last year, and it's our little on-going, joint project.
I'm a big fan, I love it. And what I love more than the book, is spending time with my six-and-three-quarters old man, doing things we shouldn't be doing, like chewing pages, making messes, cracking the spine, finding ways to wear it, putting pages in the washing machine and sticking them back in...

I love how his expression always says:"Really?? You're actually letting me DO this??"

Vintage Camera Love

Yes. I am a geek. A big ol' vintage camera loving GEEK. And I'm not ashamed. :)

Meet my wedding shoes. (Made by the lovely Anna @Shoe Missy )
I got married last July to The Beautiful Hairy Man, and as well as falling completely in love with him, I also fell completely in love with these badboys.

And it looks like I'm not the only one... Another little person liked them lots too :)

...Mummys new toy.

The postman delivered this kodak junior II for my little vintage camera collection this morning. (Eeeeeeeee!)
I've always loved getting parcels in the post. They feel a bit like presents. :)

Bailey was completely fascinated with mummys new toy, and kept trying to trade me it for a purple plastic dragon. (I wasn't tempted..:)
I loved watching his confused little face figuring out how it might go about taking a photograph!
