They are especially camera shy aren't they??

Happy Weekend.

Here's hoping your Sunday was as much fun as Handstands in the sunshine.

Saturday

...The Big Ice Cream Van Hijack.

The school summer fair for us on this sun-shiny Saturday. Hoop-a-duck, lucky dip, hotdogs and chips, bouncy castles, aaaand.....
The loveliest ice cream van man of all ice cream van men, (lets call him Mr Mac) who happily let me take some photos of Dylan inside his van.
He pulled him right on up through that window without so much as a bat of the eyelid.
And he didn't even look at me like I had lost my mind when I asked him.
We heart him. (And pledge to buy our Ice creams from this van only, for the entire summer...)
Dylan made his very own 99 while he was there, which is pretty much the same thing as being King of The World.

Crouching Tiger , Hidden Dylan.

...Because dressing up as a ninja after school on a Thursday rocks.
You know It, I know it. :)

...Dylan Alfie.

It's not very often that we see this little fella sit still. He's so full of beans and personality and smiles and chatter and laughter and noise and...LIFE, and he runs everywhere at 100 miles an hour, A Dylan-blur.

...Green Fingers.

Did some gardening in the sunshine with the kids today for a special project of ours, after a trip to the garden centre alongside their Daddy and Uncle Nick.
Here are Dylans little muddy hands planting his very own sunflower seeds.
Grow little sunflower, Grow.

Monday

It's all gone a bit Harry Potter around here!

My first attempts at moving photography. Eeeeeeeeeee! I LOVED doing this. Muchos Fun. :D

I almost pee'ed my pants when I saw Jamie Becks A.mazing animated photography a while back (you can see her work here.) and I wanted to play too, so thought I'd give it a little bash. Why the devil not? ;)

...Growing Up.

Dylan went to get ready for school this morning, and re-appeared clutching 'Bear Bear' his well-loved, well-worn teddy.

We bought him this little bear in mothercare over 7 years ago, when The Beautiful Hairy Man and I were massively excited new parents to be, and while Dylan was still a little bump, and I don't think he has spent a night without him since.

...Wedding shoes.

Meet my wedding shoes. (Made by the lovely Anna @Shoe Missy )
I got married last July to The Beautiful Hairy Man, and as well as falling completely in love with him, I also fell completely in love with these badboys.

And it looks like I'm not the only one... Another little person liked them lots too :)

...Dimple.

I heart this little dimple. And the cheek that has this dimple on it. And the smile that brings out this little dimple. And mostly, I heart the little boy with the dimply smile.
Officially jealous of dimples.

"Friends have a way of speaking without words". - Anon

I still remember the day that two of them were small enough to share a moses basket...*sigh*

....Red Nose Day.

Because I woke up this morning to the sounds of my children laughing, and watched them running around in their red noses, sorting out what to wear for Dress down Friday at School.

Because I'm lucky enough not to have to know a day when they are hungry and I can't feed them.
Because I don't have to worry about them dying from Malaria, or being HIV positive.

Because they are safe and warm and loved. Like every child should be.
And because somewhere in the world there are lots of children who are not safe and warm this morning.

Here's where to Donate...  X

....Rock n' Roll.

Okay, so when I said I would try not to use Dylan and Boo everyday in my 365, I was clearly lying.
I think it's a bit like saying the word "Diet" to myself; which only makes me crave cake, and chocolate more than i ever would've in the first place. :D

Anyway. Here is the 1970's crazed rockstar version of Dylan.
Which is a bit like the 2011 crazed little boy version of Dylan(!).....but with tattoos.
My God I love that boy. X

...Cars.

A little fact: Cars make Boo MAHOOSIVELY happy.

Since he was able to clutch anything in his little baby fist, It has been Mcqueen. And it's a love affair that shows no signs of ending any time soon.
My 365 would not be complete without a pinch of Disney Cars love.
And a whole lot of Boo love.

...Letterbox.

Because one day, he'll be too old to shout "I YOOVVE YOU MUMMY" through the letterbox when I go out. :(
And because now, he's not. :)

...Bubble.

Nothing like a bit of bubble blowing before school, is there? Sets you up for the day...
Love the concentration on Dylans face here. It's a serious business. :)

...Lashes.

Looking after lots of lovely small people today, and when this little fella fell faaast asleep, I couldn't resist taking photographs of those gorgeous bambi eyelashes of his.
Sleep tight wee man. X

...Piggies.

A wiggling, jiggling, giggling Boo let me draw on his ticklish little toes today.
Cue a WHOLE LOT of 'Weeee weeeee weee'ing all the way home'. (Twenty times so far...But who's counting??)
...I'm happy to oblige.  :)

...Teethbrushin'!
Up and at 'em early in the House of Reid today. Makes it a lot easier to wake up in the morning when you have cute smiling people like Boo Reid climbing into bed with you chattering and smiling. Here is the wee man concentrating very hard on the task of teeth brushing.
